Luckily, registering to vote is a lot simpler than you may think! Here is a guide with everything you need to know about registering to vote in the state of Pennsylvania as a college student:
1. Registration Eligibility
Everyone knows you must be 18 years old to actually vote. However, if you’re only 17 but still wish to register to vote, you may do so as long as you turn 18 by the next election.
If you are not originally from this country, you must be a citizen for at least one month before the next election. If you’re already a citizen, you must have been a resident of Pennsylvania and the election district you want to vote and register in for at least 30 days prior to the next election.

The Oakland Athletics have recently made history by becoming the first Major League Baseball team to hire a woman as a coach. Justine Siegal is set to serve as a guest instructor for the A’s 2015 instructional league at the Lew Wolff Training Complex in Mesa, Ariz.
"I was 16 when I told my coach I wanted to be a college baseball coach," Siegal said. "He laughed at me and said a man would never listen to a woman on a baseball field. That's when I decided I was going to get a Ph.D., prove them wrong. Since then, I've been able to coach at the college and pro level. They will listen to you when you know what you're doing and you can make them a better player and show that you care about them."
Pittsburgh Women's March - A Visual

Pittsburgh's original permit for our protest was originally for just 400 people, and the city didn't expect more than 1,000 people to show. In a heartwarming display of unity, compassion and solidarity, more than 25,000 people came to march and vocalize our distaste in our new government, and our desire for change and equality. We may have been a very small piece of what was going on world wide for women's equality, but I'm proud my city did our part.
Projects
The following projects were completed as school assignments. They all required students to analyze marketing, and apply skills needed to work a real job in the sports, arts, and entertainment industries.
Elio Motors sponsorship and endorsement presentation
For this project, students were required to pick a company, and create a sponsorship, naming rights, and celebrity endorsement deal for them.
Sponsorship activation/fan engagement Steelers Project
For this project we were required to create a sponsorship activation/fan engagement idea using a sponsor from one of the major teams in Pittsburgh. I created an idea for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Public Relations Incident Reaction Paper
For this assignment, we were given a hypothetical sports related public relations incident to react to for our Media Relations class.
Trans-Siberian Orchestra Marketing Plan
For this project, students were required to create a mock comprehensive and detailed marketing plan for the Trans-Siberian Orchestra show coming to PPG Paints Arena on December 27th, 2015.
Social Media and Marketing Analysis
This project required students to select a sports or entertainment organization, and completely analyze their marketing, general marketplace, and most importantly their social media presence. I chose to analyze the San Francisco Giants organization.
Into the Woods Marketing Plan
Point Park University's Conservatory of the Performing Arts presented popular musical "Into The Woods". Students were required to attend a performance, and create a marketing plan based upon what they would have done to improve the marketing of the show. We were required to propose three specific initiatives to help improve marketing and ticket sales.
Mardi Gras Murder Mystery Event
For my Event Management class, we were to create an idea for our own event and plan out every aspect of it from the initial idea, to the day of the event, and everything in between.
Business Law Case Brief
An analysis of a case brief and study for my Business Law class.
